Salmon Chowder - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 to 8 potatoes, peeled and chopped
    1 medium onion, peeled and chopped
    1 large can pink salmon (bones and skin removed)
    1 stick butter
    1 to 2 cans evaporated milk
    salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
    In a large pot, cover potatoes and onion with water.
    Bring to a boil over medium heat.
    Cook until potatoes are tender.
    Add salmon, milk and butter.
    Add salt and pepper to taste.
    Serve with saltines.
