Apricot Squares - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 1/2 c. flour
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. salt
    1 c. sugar
    1 c. Crisco shortening
    2 eggs
    2 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Sift
    together
    first 4 ingredients; cut in shortening. Blend in eggs and vanilla.
    Blend well into dough.
    Roll half of dough and put in large pan.
    Spread with filling.
    Top with rest of dough.
    Bake at 400\u00b0 for 30 minutes.
    Cut into squares when cool.
