Fudgy Pecan Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3/4 c. melted butter
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. cocoa
3 Tbsp. vegetable oil
3/4 c. finely chopped pecans
1/8 tsp. cream of tartar
1 Tbsp. cocoa
1 1/2 c. sugar
3 egg yolks
1/2 c. all-purpose flour
3 Tbsp. water
3 room temperature egg whites
1/8 tsp. salt
Preparation

Line bottom of 9-inch spring-form pan with tinfoil.
Butter foil and sides of pan.
Set aside.
Combine 3/4 cup of butter, sugar and vanilla in a large mixer bowl; beat well.
Add yolks, one at a time, beating after each addition.
Blend in 1/2 cup cocoa, flour, oil and water; beat well.
Stir in pecans.
Beat egg whites, cream of tartar and salt in small mixer bowl until stiff peaks form.
Carefully fold into chocolate mixture.
Pour into pan.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 45 minutes.
Cool 1 hour.
Cover; chill until firm.
Remove side of pan.
