Macaroni And Cheese - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 1/2 c. elbow macaroni
    2 Tbsp. flour
    dash of pepper
    8 oz. sharp American cheese, cubed
    3 Tbsp. butter
    1/2 tsp. salt
    2 c. milk
Preparation
    Cook macaroni in boiling water until tender; drain.
    In a saucepan, melt butter.
    Blend in the flour, salt and pepper.
    Add 2 cups milk.
    Cook and stir until thick and bubbly.
    Add cheese and stir until melted.
    Mix cheese sauce with macaroni.
    Turn into a 1 1/2-quart casserole.
    (At this point can be topped with sliced tomato and sprinkled with salt.)
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 35 to 40 minutes or until heated through.
