Susan'S Refrigerator Rolls - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. hot potato water
    1/2 c. sugar
    1 1/2 tsp. salt
    2 fresh yeast cakes
    1 beaten egg
    3 1/2 c. sifted all-purpose flour
    1/2 c. cooled, melted fat
    3 1/2 c. sifted all-purpose flour
Preparation
    In a large mixing bowl, Susan combines the hot potato water (drained from boiled potatoes), sugar and salt, stirring until sugar is dissolved.
    When it has cooled to lukewarm, she crumbles the fresh yeast cakes into it, lets them soften (about 5 minutes), then stirs in the beaten egg.
