Ingredients

1/4 lb. bulk Italian sausage
2 English muffins, split and toasted
1/4 c. shredded Mozzarella cheese
1/4 c. pizza sauce or spaghetti sauce
2 Tbsp. chopped green pepper
2 tsp. grated Parmesan cheese
Preparation

Crumble Italian sausage into 2 cup measure.
Cover loosely and microwave on High (100%), stirring every minute, until done, 3 to 4 minutes; break up and drain.
Spread 1 tablespoon pizza sauce over each English muffin half.
Sprinkle with cooked sausage.
Top with remaining ingredients.
Place on plate, microwave uncovered on High (100%) until cheese is melted and bubbly, 2 to 3 minutes.
Makes 2 servings.
