Fresh Peach Cobbler - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/3 c. margarine
    2 c. fresh peaches, peeled and sliced
    1/2 c. sugar
    3/4 c. flour
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1 c. sugar
    1/4 tsp. salt
    3/4 c. milk
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Put margarine in bottom of an 8 x 8-inch baking dish and set in oven to melt.
    Mix peaches with sugar and set aside.
    Make a batter with remaining ingredients and pour over melted margarine; do not stir.
    Gently spoon peaches on top of batter; do not stir into batter.
    Bake until crust is light brown and puffy, approximately 35 to 45 minutes.
