Teriyaki Burgers - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (8 1/4 oz.) can pineapple slices
    3 Tbsp. soy sauce
    1 Tbsp. catsup
    1/2 tsp. marjoram leaves, crushed
    1/8 tsp. garlic powder
    1/2 tsp. ground ginger
    1/4 c. finely chopped onion
    1 1/2 c. Rice Chex cereal, crushed
    1/2 tsp. plus 1 tsp. brown sugar
    1 Tbsp. butter
    1 lb. ground beef
Preparation
    Drain pineapple; reserve juice. Combine soy sauce, catsup and 1 tablespoon pineapple juice.
    Remove 3 tablespoons mixture and set aside.
    To remainder, add marjoram, garlic powder and ginger. Blend well.
    Add onion, ground beef and Chex.
    Mix and shape into 4 patties. Add 1/2 teaspoon brown sugar to reserved soy sauce mixture. Grill or broil burgers, brushing with mixture.
