Pop-Pop'S Chicken Corn Chowder - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 c. chopped onion
    1/3 c. butter or margarine
    1/4 c. flour
    2 tsp. chicken bouillon granules
    3 c. milk or half and half
    1 c. cooked, cubed potatoes
    2 c. corn, drained
    1 c. cooked diced chicken
    1 Tbsp. chopped green pepper
    1 Tbsp. chopped red pepper
    1 bay leaf
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    3 to 4 hard-boiled eggs, sliced
Preparation
    Melt butter in saucepan.
    Saute onion until tender (5 minutes).
    Blend in flour and bouillon.
    Cook, stirring constantly, until mixture is smooth and bubbly.
    Stir in milk; heat to boiling, then simmer (avoid a hard boil), stirring until mixture thickens.
    Add potatoes, corn, chicken, green and red peppers and bay leaf.
    Stir in hard-boiled eggs.
    Makes approximately 6 servings.
    Very rich; serve with green salad.
