Apple Crisp - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 c. apples, peeled and sliced
    3/4 c. flour
    1 c. sugar
    1/2 tsp. cinnamon
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/4 b. butter (small pieces)
Preparation
    Butter a 1 1/2-quart baking dish.
    Spread bottom with apple slices and sprinkle 1/3 cup water over top.
    Mix dry ingredients, then add the small butter pieces, one at a time, until it looks like coarse crumbs.
    Sprinkle this over the apples and bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes.
