Christmas Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 small can crushed pineapple
    1/2 c. chopped nuts
    1 c. cottage cheese
    1 pkg. cherry jello
    1 c. water
    1/2 pt. whipping cream
Preparation
    Heat 1 cup of boiling water.
    Add crushed pineapple and continue cooking for 3 minutes.
    Add cherry jello to pineapple and water.
    Stir until dissolved; set aside and let cool to syrup stage.
    Add cottage cheese and nuts.
    Whip whipping cream; stir into mixture.
    Let stand until chilled.
