Soft Cutout Sugar Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/4 c. sugar
    1 c. butter flavor Crisco
    1/4 c. light corn syrup or regular pancake syrup
    1 Tbsp. vanilla
    3 c. flour
    3/4 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. baking soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Combine sugar and butter flavor Crisco.
    Add eggs, syrup and vanilla.
    Beat well.
    Combine 3 cups flour, baking powder, soda and salt; add gradually in 1/4's to cream mixture.
    Chill.
    Put flour (1 teaspoon) on wax paper.
    Flatten and turn over dough and roll 1/4-inch thick.
    Bake at 375\u00b0 for 5 to 9 minutes, depending on size.
    Do not overbake.
    Makes 3 to 4 dozen.
