Quick Sherbet - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (16 oz.) can mixed fruit or sliced peaches or pears, packed in juice or extra-light syrup
Preparation
    Freeze can until solid.
    Place under hot water for 1 minute. Open can, put fruit in a blender, and process until it is the consistency of sherbet.
    If necessary, return to freezer until serving time.
    Serve plain or over melon slices.
