Corned Beef - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 pkg. corned beef cuts
1 pkg. pickling spices
3 oranges
3 lemons
1 Tbsp. black pepper
1 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. prepared mustard
Preparation

Place corned beef in pot.
Cut oranges and lemons into thick slices and place around meat.
Pour whole box of pickling spice on top of meat/fruit mixture.
Cover meat with water.
Add black pepper.
Cover tightly; simmer for 2 1/2 to 3 hours.
Remove meat from broth; cool slightly.
Slather with mustard, then pat on brown sugar.
Brown in oven for 30 minutes at 325\u00b0.
Remove and cool.
Serves 20 to 25 if sliced thin for sandwiches.
