Peanut Brittle - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. unsalted peanuts
    1 c. sugar
    1/2 c. light corn syrup
    1 Tbsp. butter or margarine
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 tsp. baking soda
Preparation
    Mix peanuts, sugar and corn syrup in microwave-safe glass bowl.
    Cook 7 to 9 minutes on High until mixture is bubbly and peanuts are brown.
    Quickly stir in butter and vanilla.
    Cook 2 to 3 minutes longer.
    Add baking soda and stir in quickly. Mixture will be foamy.
    Pour into baking pan.
    Cool at least 15 minutes, then break apart.
