Porcupine Meatballs - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 c. Minute rice
    1/4 c. tomato soup
    1 tsp. salt
    1/4 c. bread crumbs or oatmeal
    1 egg
    1 lb. ground beef
Preparation
    Mix thoroughly and shape into balls; brown on both sides in small amount of shortening.
    Then add the rest of can of soup along with 1 cup water over top of the balls.
    Cover and simmer for 40 minutes on low heat.
