Strawberry-Rhubarb Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 pie shells
    1 c. sugar
    3 large stalks rhubarb
    large box strawberry gelatin
    3 c. strawberries
Preparation
    Dice 2 to 3 large stalks rhubarb.
    Place in large saucepan with about 1/2 cup water.
    Bring to a boil and add 1 cup sugar.
    Cook rhubarb to mush, then add 1 large box strawberry gelatin.
    Bring to a boil.
    Add 3 cups of sliced, fresh strawberries.
    Remove from heat immediately.
    Stir thoroughly.
    Pour into 2 cooked pie shells. Let cool and refrigerate.
    Serve with whipped cream.
