Squash Pickles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    10 c. thinly sliced yellow squash (4 lb. approximately)
    2 c. thinly sliced onions
    1/3 c. salt
    2 c. white vinegar
    3 c. sugar
    1 (4 oz.) jar diced pimento, drained
    2 green peppers, sliced
    1 Tbsp. celery seed
    1 Tbsp. mustard seed
Preparation
    Mix squash, onions and peppers. Sprinkle 1/3 cup salt. Set aside 1 1/2 hours.
