Cream Of Potato Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 to 7 potatoes, peeled and diced
    3/4 stick margarine
    2 cans cream of mushroom soup
    1 tsp. garlic salt
    salt and pepper to taste
    1 medium chopped onion
    1 (8 oz.) cream cheese, cubed
    1 1/2 c. milk
Preparation
    In large saucepan, cook diced potatoes and onion until tender (soupy) in just enough water to cover.
    Add cubes of cream cheese to potato and onion.
    Remove from heat.
    Stir until cream cheese is melted.
    To potato mixture, add remaining ingredients.
