Ingredients

1 c. margarine
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 3/4 c. sugar
1 c. whipping cream
2 tsp. baking powder
4 to 5 c. all-purpose flour
Preparation

Cream together the margarine and sugar.
Beat in the eggs. Mix together the whipping cream and vanilla.
Add to the creamed mixture; mix thoroughly.
Add the baking soda and baking powder to 1 cup of flour; add to creamed mixture, mixing well.
Add remaining flour, 1 cup at a time, mixing well after each addition, scraping the sides of the bowl, and adding enough flour to make a soft workable dough.
Chill dough overnight.
