Spicy Beef Jullien - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 lb. round steak, cut into thin strips
    1 1/2 c. onions
    1 c. green pepper
    2 c. canned tomatoes
    1 (6 oz.) can tomato paste
    3 1/2 c. beef broth
    garlic (2 to 3 cloves)
    3 tsp. chili powder
    3/4 tsp. cumin seed
    3/4 tsp. oregano
    3/4 tsp. sugar
    1/2 tsp. pepper
    3 cans kidney beans
    rice
Preparation
    Dredge strips of steak in flour.
    Brown carefully in butter. Remove and put in large pot.
    Add onions and pepper to pan and saute.
    Mix together rest of ingredients but beans.
    Simmer until meat is tender, about 1 hour or longer.
    When ready to serve, add the beans and serve over rice.
