Bread And Butter Pickles(Easily Refrigerated) - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 c. sugar
1 tsp. turmeric
1 1/2 tsp. mustard seed
4 c. vinegar
1 1/2 tsp. celery seed
1/3 c. plain salt (do not use iodized salt!)
Preparation

Bring brine to boil and let cool.
Pour over cucumbers.
Put lid on jars; refrigerate.
Shake every day for 5 days.
Keep refrigerated and they will last a year or more.
