Broccoli Cheese Soup - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 Tbsp. salad oil or oleo
3/4 c. chopped onion
6 c. water
6 chicken bouillon cubes
8 oz. fine egg noodles
1 tsp. salt
2 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen broccoli
1/8 tsp. garlic salt or powder
6 c. milk
1 lb. American cheese, cubed
Preparation

Heat oil in a large saucepan or Dutch oven.
Add onions and saute over low heat.
Add water and chicken bouillon cubes.
Heat to boiling.
Stir occasionally until cubes dissolve.
Gradually add noodles and salt; cook, uncovered, for 3 minutes.
Stir in broccoli and garlic powder.
Cook 4 minutes more.
Add milk, cheese and a little pepper.
Cook until cheese melts.
Makes 4 quarts.
Can be frozen.
