Layered Pan Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 head lettuce
    1/3 pkg. frozen peas
    1 c. diced celery
    1/2 c. diced, grated onions
    2 tomatoes, diced
    6 hard-boiled eggs
    1/2 pkg. bacon, fried crisp and crumbled
    optional ingredients: bell pepper, water chestnuts, raisins, pineapple tidbits, etc.
Preparation
    Layer all ingredients in a 9 x 13-inch pan.
    Top with dressing and grated cheese.
    Let set several hours or overnight.
