Glazed Onions - cooking recipe
Ingredients

boiling water
1/2 tsp. salt
8 large onions, peeled (2 1/2 lb.)
1/4 c. butter
1/4 c. sugar
Preparation

In 1-inch boiling water, add salt in large skillet.
Cook whole onions, covered, over medium heat about 30 minutes, or until tender.
Drain.
In large skillet, melt butter with sugar.
Add onions; saute over medium heat, turning until golden brown, about 5 minutes.
