King Ranch Chicken - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 large fryer, stewed, boned and cut into bite size
    1 large onion, chopped fine
    1 large green pepper, chopped
    12 corn tortillas
    1/2 c. chicken broth
    1/2 lb. Cheddar cheese, grated
    1 Tbsp. chili powder
    garlic salt to taste
    1 (10 1/2 oz.) can cream of chicken soup
    1 (10 1/2 oz.) can cream of mushroom soup
    1 can Ro-Tel tomatoes, crushed
Preparation
    Combine chicken, onion and green pepper.
    Layer alternately with tortillas (which have been dipped into hot stock, chicken broth, long enough to soften) in shallow 3-quart buttered casserole.
    Pour 1/2 cup broth over layered mixture.
    Top with grated cheese and sprinkle with chili powder and garlic salt.
    Mix and heat soups; add in order:
    soup, then tomatoes.
    Bake in moderate 350\u00b0 oven for 45 minutes.
