Apple-Cherry Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    2 Tbsp. flour
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1/4 tsp. nutmeg
    2 c. tart red cherries
    3 c. thinly sliced apples
    pastry for double crust
    2 Tbsp. margarine or butter
    1 Tbsp. milk
    1/2 tsp. sugar
    dash of cinnamon
Preparation
    Combine 1 cup sugar, flour, 1 teaspoon cinnamon and nutmeg. In large bowl, combine cherries and apples.
    Add sugar mixture and toss to coat.
    Transfer to pastry-lined 9-inch pie plate.
    Dot fruit with margarine or butter.
    Adjust top crust.
    Seal and flute edges.
