Hamburger Dill Pickles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    cucumbers, sliced 1/2-inch thick
    1 c. sugar
    1 c. vinegar
    1 Tbsp. salt
    dill
    onion
    garlic
    celery
Preparation
    Boil sugar, vinegar and salt.
    In each quart jar put cucumbers, dill, 1/4 onion, 1/4 garlic and 1/2 stalk celery.
    Pour brine over cucumbers.
    Set in cold pack canners and cover with cold water.
    Bring to boil and turn off heat.
    Do not cook.
