Toffee Bars - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. butter or margarine, softened
1 c. firmly packed light brown sugar
1 egg yolk
1 tsp. vanilla
2 1/4 c. sifted all-purpose flour
1 (12 oz.) pkg. semi-sweet chocolate pieces
1 c. coarsely chopped walnuts or pecans
Preparation

Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
Grease a 9 x 13-inch pan.
Beat butter, sugar, egg yolk and vanilla in a large bowl at high speed until moist and crumbly and mixture begins to gather around beater. Stir in flour until blended.
