Ingredients

3 3/4 c. sugar
1/2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1 1/4 tsp. vanilla
6 eggs, well beaten
1 c. butter or oleo, melted
1 c. buttermilk
Preparation

Beat eggs.
Mix together sugar, flour and salt and add to eggs. Stir in vanilla, melted butter and buttermilk.
Bake in two 9-inch unbaked pie crusts for 1 hour at 350\u00b0.
Makes two pies that can be frozen after baking.
