Old-Fashioned German Dumplings - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. water
    6 Tbsp. oil
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. flour
    2 eggs
Preparation
    Boil water with oil and salt.
    Then add flour all at once. Stir until it leaves sides of pan.
    Remove from heat and cool. Add 1 egg and stir until absorbed, then add the other egg the same way.
    Drop by small spoonfuls into your favorite vegetable soup and cover tightly.
    Let cook for about 15 minutes.
    Makes 16 dumplings.
