Christmas Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 eggs
    4 c. flour
    1 lb. margarine
    2 c. sugar
    1 1/2 oz. lemon flavoring
    1/2 lb. cherries
    1/2 lb. pineapple
    1 qt. pecans
Preparation
    Cream together margarine and sugar.
    Add flavorings and mix well.
    Add egg yolks; reserve egg whites for later.
    Mix well. Dredge fruit and nuts in 1 cup of flour, then add to mixture.
    Stir in remaining flour.
    Mix well.
    Beat egg whites until stiff peaks form.
    Gently fold egg whites into mixture.
    Place in baking pan. Bake at 325\u00b0 for 1 1/2 hours.
    This will make one large or 2 small cakes.
