Apple Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    8 apples, peeled and cored
    3 c. sugar
    1 1/2 c. melted butter
    3 eggs
    4 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
    3 tsp. baking soda
    3 tsp. cinnamon
    1 1/2 tsp. nutmeg
    1 1/2 tsp. salt
    1 1/2 c. walnuts
    1 1/2 c. raisins
Preparation
    Sift with flour the baking soda, cinnamon, nutmeg and salt. Slice apples and place in large bowl.
    Add sugar and mix.
    Let stand for 10 minutes.
    Blend melted butter and eggs; add to apples.
    Add flour mixture and mix.
    Add nuts and raisins.
    Pour in a 10 x 14-inch pan, greased and lined with wax paper.
    Bake in preheated oven for 50 to 55 minutes at 350\u00b0.
