Hawaii Fruit Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 white or yellow cake mix
    1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
    1 pkg. vanilla instant pudding
    1 jar maraschino cherries
    1 tub Cool Whip
    1 large can crushed pineapple
    1 pkg. coconut
    1 pkg. nuts, if desired
Preparation
    Prepare cake according to package directions, using pineapple juice instead of water.
    Use sheath cake pan.
    Allow cake to cool. Mix cream cheese and pudding (this is first layer).
    Spread pineapple and Cool Whip mixture.
    Coconut is next layer.
    Last, top with cherries.
