Heavenly Strawberry Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sliced strawberries
    1 (6 oz.) shortbread cookie crust
    1 (4 serving) box sugar-free strawberry jello
    1 (4 serving size) sugar-free cook 'n serve vanilla pudding
    1 c. Cool Whip lite
    5 to 6 drops red food coloring
    1 1/2 c. + 1/2 tsp. water
Preparation
    Place sliced strawberries over bottom of pie crust. In medium pan, add jello, pudding and 1 1/2 cups water.
    Cook over medium heat until thick and starts to boil.
    Spoon hot mixture over strawberries. Refrigerate for 2 hours.
    Add Cool Whip before serving.
