Impossible Cheeseburger Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. ground beef
1/2 c. chopped onion
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1 1/2 c. milk
3/4 c. Bisquick
3 eggs
2 tomatoes, shredded or chopped
1 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
1 lb. lean ground meat (beef, pork, lamb or turkey)
1/2 c. chopped onion
1 Tbsp. prepared mustard
2 to 3 tsp. chili powder
1/4 tsp. salt
1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
1 (6 oz.) can tomato juice
1/2 c. shredded carrot
1/3 c. bulgur wheat
6 whole wheat hamburger buns, split
2 oz. shredded Cheddar cheese (1/2 c.)
Preparation

In a 10-inch skillet, cook meat and onion until meat is brown and onion is tender.
Drain off any excess fat.
Stir in the prepared mustard, chili powder and salt.
Cook and stir for 1 minute.
Add tomato sauce, tomato juice, shredded carrot and bulgur wheat.
Bring mixture to boiling; reduce heat.
Simmer meat mixture, uncovered, for 10 minutes, stirring.
Serve.
Spoon the meat mixture onto buns.
Sprinkle each bun with shredded cheese. Makes 6 servings.
