Mint Syrup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. water
    2 1/4 c. sugar
    3 c. fresh washed mint leaves
Preparation
    Combine all ingredients in a sauce pan and stir well.
    Bring to a boil and cook 10 minutes or until mixture is reduced to 2 1/4 cups.
    Remove from heat, stir and strain.
    Refrigerate.
    May be served over fresh fruit or in tea.
