Speedy Taco Bake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. ground beef
1/2 c. chopped onion
1 (1 1/4 oz.) envelope taco seasoning mix
1 (15 oz.) can tomato sauce
1 (15 1/4 oz.) can whole kernel corn, drained
2 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
1 box Jiffy corn muffin mix
1 c. mild salsa (optional)
Preparation

Heat oven to 350\u00b0.
Cook ground beef and onion until browned. Add taco mix, tomato sauce and corn.
Put in ungreased 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking dish.
Pour salsa over meat. Sprinkle cheese over top.
Prepare corn bread muffin mix according to directions on box.
Spoon over the cheese.
Bake 35 minutes or until corn bread is golden brown.
Serve with sour cream, chopped tomato and shredded lettuce, if desired.
Makes 6 to 8 servings.
