Italian Style Filet Mignon(Filetto Di Bye) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. filet mignon
    3 slices bacon
    1 onion, sliced
    salt and pepper
    1/4 c. butter or margarine, melted
    1/2 c. dry sherry
Preparation
    Fry bacon 1 minute; add onions and saute until golden brown. Remove bacon and onion from frypan.
    Brown meat on all sides over high heat.
    Reduce heat and cool for 5 minutes.
    Add melted butter or margarine and sherry.
    Cook for another 2 minutes or until meat is cooked.
    Do not overcook.
    Serve with bacon and onions.
    Serves 6.
