Chinese Chews - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. margarine or butter
    2 Tbsp. sugar
    1 c. flour
    1 tsp. salt
    2 eggs
    1 1/2 c. brown sugar
    1 c. coconut
    1/2 c. chopped nutmeats
    1/4 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Cream together the margarine, sugar, flour and salt.
    Spread in a 9 x 12-inch pan; pack firmly.
    Beat eggs and brown sugar, then add coconut, nutmeats and salt.
    Spread over mixture in pan; bake at 325\u00b0 for 40 minutes.
