Cauliflower Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 head lettuce, torn
    1 medium head cauliflower, sliced thin
    1 medium onion, diced
    1 (1 lb.) bacon, fried crisp and crumbled
    2 c. mayonnaise
    1/3 c. white sugar
    1/3 c. Parmesan cheese
    salt and pepper
Preparation
    Place first 4 ingredients in layers in a large bowl.
    Add salt and pepper if desired.
    Mix sugar into mayonnaise and spread on top making a seal.
    Sprinkle cheese on top.
    Seal bowl tightly and refrigerate overnight.
    Toss just before serving.
