Connie'S English Toffee - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. sugar
1/2 lb. butter
3 Tbsp. water
1 tsp. vanilla
chopped nuts
chocolate, melted
Preparation

In a pan, place sugar, butter and water.
Bring to a boil of 300\u00b0.
Take off burner; add vanilla.
Pour onto buttered cookie sheet or foil.
When cool, pour melted chocolate over toffee and press chopped nuts into chocolate.
Break into small pieces when chocolate has hardened.
