Corn Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. Martha White self-rising corn meal
    1/2 c. Martha White all-purpose flour
    1/2 c. sugar
    1 1/2 c. buttermilk
    1/2 c. (1 stick) butter or margarine, melted
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Grease bottom of an 8 1/2 x 4 1/2 x 2 1/2-inch loaf pan.
    Combine ingredients in mixing bowl; stir until smooth.
    Set aside for 20 minutes; stir lightly.
    Pour batter into prepared pan.
    Bake for 1 hour or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
    Cool in pan 10 minutes.
    Turn out onto wire rack until ready to serve.
    Makes 8 to 10 servings.
