Mardi Gras Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (16 oz.) frozen green peas (2 c.)
    1 (16 oz.) can whole kernel corn (2 c.), drained
    2 c. chopped red cabbage
    1 c. chopped onion
    1 c. chopped celery
    salt and pepper to taste
    1/3 c. vinegar*
    2/3 c. oil*
Preparation
    Put 1/3 cup water in 1 quart pan.
    Bring to boil; add peas, cover and turn off heat.
    Leave on burner while you chop the other vegetables.
