Sweet And Sour Beef Stew - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 c. flour
    2 tsp. salt and pepper
    2 lb. beef (for stew)
    2 Tbsp. oil
    1/4 c. catsup
    4 carrots, sliced *
    1 Tbsp. Worcestershire
    1/4 c. brown sugar
    1/4 c. red wine
    1 c. water
    1 onion, chopped
Preparation
    Coat beef with flour.
    Fry in Dutch oven in hot oil until brown.
    Combine catsup, sugar, vinegar, Worcestershire sauce, water, salt and pepper and pour over meat.
    Cover pan.
    Reduce heat and simmer about 1 hour, stirring once or twice.
    Add carrots and cook until done.
    Serve over egg noodles and garnish with chopped parsley.
