Pennsylvania Apple Pot Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 large apples (try to use apples that don't go to mush)
    1/4 c. shortening
    2 c. sifted flour
    1/8 tsp. salt
    1/2 to 2/3 c. water
    2/3 c. sugar
    1/2 tsp. cinnamon
    2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
    2 c. boiling water
Preparation
    Sift together the sugar and cinnamon.
    Pare, core and cut apples into eighths.
