Strawberry Refrigerator Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 large box crumbled vanilla wafers
2 sticks oleo
1 3/4 c. sugar
4 eggs
3 boxes fresh strawberries, washed and sliced
1 pt. whipped whipping cream

Preparation

Cream together the oleo and sugar.
Add the eggs, one at a time.
Beat well after each egg.
Place 3/4 of the crumbs in long cake pan. Spoon creamed mixture over this. Spread with a damp spoon.
Place sliced strawberries on this.
Sprinkle rest of crumbs over this.
Top with the whipped cream. Refrigerate.
