Apple Cake(Low-Fat) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. flour
    1 1/4 c. sugar
    1 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
    1 1/4 tsp. baking soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. ground cloves
    1/2 tsp. ground nutmeg
    2 eggs, beaten
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1/2 c. applesauce (this replaces 1/2 oil)
    1/3 c. apple juice
    2 c. peeled, chopped apples
    1/4 c. brown sugar, packed
    1/4 c. chopped walnuts
Preparation
    Sift first 7 ingredients into mixing bowl; blend.
    Add eggs, vanilla, applesauce and juice.
    Stir just until blended.
    Fold in apples.
    Spoon batter into 8 x 8-inch baking dish sprayed with nonstick vegetable spray.
