Pecan Sandies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. butter
    2 tsp. vanilla
    2 c. sifted flour
    1/2 c. sugar
    2 tsp. water
    1 c. chopped pecans
Preparation
    Cream butter and sugar. Add vanilla and water. Mix well. Add flour. Mix and add pecans. Chill for 4 hours. Shape in balls or fingers. Bake on ungreased cookie sheet at 325\u00b0 for 20 minutes. Remove when cooled slightly and roll in powdered sugar. Makes 3 dozen.
