Texas Chili Beef Slices(Makes 6 To 8 Servings) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. top round steak, cut 2 inches thick
    instant meat tenderizer
    1/2 c. chopped onion or 2 Tbsp. instant minced onions
    2 cloves garlic, minced
    1/4 c. oil
    3 Tbsp. vinegar
    3 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
    1 Tbsp. chili powder
    2 (8 oz.) cans tomato sauce
    1/4 c. firmly packed brown sugar
    1 tsp. ground mustard
    2 Tbsp. lemon juice
    1/2 tsp. liquid smoke
    dash of hot pepper sauce
    6 to 8 small rolls
Preparation
    Sprinkle meat with tenderizer according to package directions. In small bowl, make marinade by combining onion, garlic, oil, vinegar, Worcestershire sauce and chili powder.
    Place steak in shallow baking dish.
    Pour marinade over meat; store in refrigerator overnight or at least 3 hours.
    Remove steak from marinade.
